Dear Diamond Lake School Families,

The wait is finally over—welcome to a brand-new school year! We are so excited to open our doors and welcome your child back to Diamond Lake School. The building is buzzing with energy, and we can’t wait to see the incredible growth, learning, and joy this year will bring.

To help your child make the most of this year, we want to place a special focus on the power of being present. Regular attendance is key to helping students feel connected, confident, and excited about their education. When they are here, they are thriving!

How you can help us build a strong foundation:

• Create smooth mornings by setting a consistent bedtime and wake-up routine.
• Prioritize school hours by scheduling appointments in the afternoon or during breaks when possible.
• Keep us in the loop by calling the office if your child has to be absent so we can support their return.
• Celebrate showing up by talking to your child about how important they are to our school community.

This year, we are turning attendance into a celebration! We will be hosting fun classroom challenges, continuing with PAW Points, and surprises to show our students that showing up is something to be celebrated.
