Behind every great school is a leader who inspires, encourages, and makes a difference in the lives of students, staff, and families. During Principal Appreciation Week, Diamond Lake School District 76 proudly recognizes our three incredible principals for the heart, dedication, and passion they bring to our school communities each day.
At Diamond Lake School, Principal Sunny Morley helps our youngest learners begin their educational journeys with excitement, confidence, and a love for learning. Through her kindness, patience, and enthusiasm, she creates a nurturing environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to discover their potential. Her genuine care for students, staff, and families makes those important first years of school truly special.
At West Oak Intermediate School, Principal Natalie Kalette brings warmth, compassion, and a strong sense of community to everything she does. Her ability to build meaningful relationships and make others feel welcomed and valued helps create a school culture where students are excited to learn and staff feel supported. Her dedication to celebrating accomplishments, encouraging growth, and bringing people together makes a lasting difference throughout the WOIS community.
At West Oak Middle School, Principal Brandon Pedersen leads with compassion, encouragement, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed. During these important years of growth and self discovery, his leadership helps students build confidence, embrace new challenges, and find their place within the school community. His dedication to supporting staff, strengthening relationships, and creating a positive learning environment helps make WOMS a place where everyone can thrive.
While each of our principals serves students at different stages of their educational journeys, they share a common commitment to making every student feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. Their leadership reaches far beyond the classroom, shaping school cultures, strengthening connections with families, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact.
Throughout Principal Appreciation Week, we celebrate Mrs. Morley, Mrs. Kalette, and Mr. Pedersen for the countless ways they go above and beyond for our D76 family. Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and the heart you bring to our schools each day. We are incredibly fortunate to have you leading our students, supporting our staff, and helping our entire district continue to shine!
Happy Principal Appreciation Week!
